The position of Junior Assistant Purser covers the following areas: Front Desk, Assistant Night Manager, Crew Office, Hotel Secretary and  Shore Excursions Desk.  Photo Video Staff 

Onboard photography is primarily centered on portrait and event photography, using both natural locations and onboard studio setups with backdrops and studio lighting. Our Photographers produce a souvenir DVD documenting the cruise experience from beginning to end, showing both onboard entertainment and port tours and destinations. The work is fast-paced, high-volume, and high-quality. Attention to detail, teamwork, and outstanding customer service are the most important elements of this job. You will be shooting photos and videos both ashore and on the ship, processing photos and editing video footage, selling the finished products and other retail items, and providing top-quality customer service to our guests.

Among other responsibilities the Photo staff must:

  • Be willing to work about 11 hs.

Assistant Production Manager – Crew Chief

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining technical performance standards for the Princess Theatre at all times.
  • Conducts thorough daily inspections of automation systems, ensuring good working conditions or taking necessary action for repair.  Properly maintains all equipment and items within the specified lounge and around the vessel, including band equipment, show props, scenic items and other show elements as directed by the Senior Production Manager.
  • Openly discusses all pertinent production-related matters with performers and musicians and agrees on end results in a timely manner.  Assists Senior Production Manager.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs minor issues within the automation system.


  • Graduate from a recognized theater program or at least two years of related technical theater experience
  • Experience operating and maintaining large-format consoles and mixed media playback
  • Must have experience in live audio engineering for various event sizes
  • Must be able to interact and co-operate with other technicians and performers on an individual and team basis  Command of the English language, both verbal and written
Assistant Production Manager Lighting - Level 1 (Grand Class only)

Position Summary
To operate and maintain specific lighting and video requirements of assigned the Princess Theatre as set by artistic and supervisory staff. To perform specific duties as assigned for the Princess Theatre and assist other shows and facilities as required.

Duties and Responsabilities:

  • 1. Conduct daily checks as determined by the appropriate supervisor(s) and then report any damage, malfunctions, irregularities, etc.
  • 2. Maintain and repair all entertainment-related lighting equipment in the Theatre or the vessel as required.
  • 3. Maintain adequate levels of supplies, reporting any shortages to the appropriate supervisor(s).
  • 4. Co-ordinate in conjunction with the appropriate supervisor(s), any maintenance or repair of assigned lighting and video equipment.
  • 5. Learn and master equipment for specific shows/facility.
  • 6. Maintain the specific lighting, video and electrical requirements of the show/facility as set by the artistic and supervisory staff.
  • 7. Communicate with supervisors, bandleaders, guest entertainers, and line captains as required.

The Crew Welfare Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of crew activities and programs which enhance the onboard experience of our shipboard employees.

Some Hiring Requirements:

  • Must be articulate and have public speaking skills and experience hosting events.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years experience in the cruise line, resort, family camp or entertainment business/industry.
  • Previous experience performing administrative duties such as data input, organizing paper and computer files, multi-tasking etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, or related programs.


  • 1. Coordination of a diverse calendar of activities that enhance the crew experience including sports, tours, education programs, etc.
  • 2. Attendance at crew events to ensure an efficient set up, presentation, break down, and overall operation of crew programs.
  • 3. Research and recommend new programs / activities
  • 4. Development and maintenance of crew communication forums including the crew activity newsletter, notice boards etc..

Junior Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Responsible to ensure that all aspects of the Responsible Service of Alcohol policies and procedures are met and adhered to by passengers and fellow crew throughout the vessel.
  • 2. In conjunction with the Storekeeper, provide analysis of bar stores consumption to assist the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars) with the ordering of supplies.
  • 3. Account for any stock transfers between onboard locations.
  • 4. Compile a physical inventory routine for each location. Verify levels of inventory at least once per cruise or more, if required, e.g. crew bar daily or any bar where high variances are occurring.
  • 5. Prepare daily revenue analysis by bar location for the Staff First Purser F&B and First Purser F&B, as well as the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars) and compare against previous results and against budgets set by PCSC.
  • 6. Assist with bar rounds as required by the Food & Beverage Manager.
  • 7. Be conversant with USPH standards and requirements.
  • 8. Attend passenger cocktail parties as required.
  • 9. Perform any and all such duties as may be assigned by the Staff First Purser F&B, First Purser F&B, Food & Beverage Manager (Bars), Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars), Passenger Services Director, and/or other senior management.
