Assists the buffet steward and he/she is accountable for the cleanliness of the Open Deck, Lido Buffet, Pizzeria, and Officer’s and Crew Mess Rooms in accordance with sanitation standards, and provides prompt and efficient service to the assigned area.  He/she must be familiar with correct procedures in the operation, cleaning and sanitizing of his/her designated areas as well as the correct arrangement of garbage separation system and it’s removal from place of work to disposal area. He/she also needs to be familiar with menu items, wine service, and beverage recipes and prices in case a guest needs assistance. Among other responsibilities the assistant buffet steward must:

  • Must have oral and written command of the English language as required by company policy.
  • Good social skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent grooming standards.

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.

Chef de Partie

He supervises and controls all galley personnel working in his section and ensures that his section is supplied with all the necessary utensils and that all equipment functions properly. Besides, he explains the preparation of those dishes included in the menu and to be prepared by his/her section. Among other responsibilites, the 1st cook must:

The Stewarding department is responsible for maintaining meticulous sanitation and hygiene standards in all Galley areas, ensuring that operating procedures are upheld and adhered to at all times. Photographer / Videographer
 Photo Video Staff 

Onboard photography is primarily centered on portrait and event photography, using both natural locations and onboard studio setups with backdrops and studio lighting. Our Videographers produce a souvenir DVD documenting the cruise experience from beginning to end, showing both onboard entertainment and port tours and destinations. The work is fast-paced, high-volume, and high-quality. Attention to detail, teamwork, and outstanding customer service are the most important elements of this job. You will be shooting photos and videos both ashore and on the ship, processing photos and editing video footage, selling the finished products and other retail items, and providing top-quality customer service to our guests.

Among other responsibilities the Photo staff must:

  • Be willing to work about 11 hs.
  • Hav the highest standard of personal appearance at all times.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Full command of the English language.

  • Must have a degree of at least 2 years in Photography or a related field.

Stage Crew

He/she performs duties as assigned in the Princess Theatre, plus rotate into other facilities and areas as required. This can include the running of production shows, cabaret acts, operation of movies, setup of bands, and other duties as assigned. . Among other responsibilities the the stage crew must:

  • Consistently and successfully perform all duties and responsibilities.


    Learn and master assigned duties or tracks in the Princess Theatre and other facilities as assigned.
  • Learn additional duties or tracks in order to facilitate the rotation process.


    Assist in the technical preparation of equipment, sets, props, lights, rigging.
  • Report any repairs to supervisor.

Production Assistant

  • Works as a part of the production team to maintain technical performance standards for the assigned lounges
  • Assists relevant Assistant Production Managers with maintaining all equipment, scenery, and props within assigned venue(s) and around the vessel as directed.
  • Assists with show and event preparation as it pertains to A/V equipment, scenic goods, props, lighting, and rigging
  • Assists relevant Assistant Production Managers with maintenance of all technical equipment as requested, to maintain the integrity of the production shows
  • Continually develops knowledge of audio, lighting, and video equipment used in specified venue(s). Assists the Technical Department with general repairs and operations
  • Complies with Fleet Regulations and other applicable internal, external, and governmental regulations at all times
  • Willingly assists supervisor in maintaining good occupational safe working practices
  • Adheres to safe working practices including the proper use of PPE and correct lifting techniques at all times

He/she Assists the Bar Supervisor in providing quality service to all passengers as per company standards. It is also important to be familiar with all aspects of the duties performed by the Bar Supervisor in the event they are required to temporarily fulfill that role. Among other responsibilites, the bartender must:

  • Maintains excellent stock control and supervision of all bar, food and general supplies used.
  • Responsible for the overall continuing cleanliness of the places of work and notifies the appropriate shipboard personnel of defects within any bar location.

  • Provide excellent quality service to the passenger.

Sommeliers / Wine Tenders / Wine Stewards

Has a lot of physical and verbal interactions with guests.  Provides wine service to guests in the Specialty Restaurant. Additional duties include the re-stocking of the wine cellar on a daily basis and once a week may be requested to work during the loading of wines onto to the ship. Should be knowledgeable about the wine list and able to discuss and suggest wines to guests who ask for advice. The knowledge of how to pair wine with food is imperative.  Must be able to reach reasonable and attainable sales targets set by the company.  Duties include the cleaning and sanitizing of his/her working area.  Must have or acquires the necessary knowledge to comply with the ship’s standard operation, in order to assist guests and crewmembers with inquiries.

Routinely assists in setting up the assigned Bar location. Delivers all items requested by the Bar Supervisor (such as liquor, foods, etc.,) to Bar locations accurately, in a timely manner, and in good condition. Promptly and properly prepares all Bar items required for full beverage service, including Bar stock, garnish, and sundries.

  • Provides beverage service in dining rooms and at high-traffic events, as directed by the Bartender.
